The Council of the Law society of Kenya calls upon members who have undertaken public interest litigation to forward copies of the rulings and/ or judgments obtained for the purposes of creating public interest litigation case database at the Secretariat.

This will enable the Council

a)  Analyze the various rulings and judgment

b)  Review them to see whether they are premised on the right interpretation of law

c)  Come up with post litigation strategies to ensure enforcement and/or compliance

d)  To identify and find new areas for public interest litigation.

Members who have also identified potential public interest cases can forward the same to the Secretariat for audit and further action.  The cases will be audited by the Public Interest Litigation Sub –Committee of the Council.
